There are some factors that you need to think of such as the salary, the schedule, and the students that you will be teaching. Everything will always be depended on your work experience as well as your educational background.
If you have been teaching for quite some time, then doing a university teaching job should not be a problem for you. This is because you will be able to adjust easily the only change is the location where you will be teaching and probably the salary. Regarding the pay, you should have thought about that before you agree to any work contract or job. This way there will be no regrets once you have received your first pay as a university teacher.
However, if this is a first time there’s a chance that you will be turned down because some universities may figure you are not ready however, for as long as you have the training or certificates required for a teaching position then there is no reason for a university not to consider you.
